Nike Internationalist Mid Royal Sandtrap fashion
Despite all the advances in shoe tech over recent decades, the Nike Internationalist Mid Royal Sandtrap fashion still stacks up as a decent road runner option. Forget dem modern bells and whistles, these things make the right noise as a shoe to sweat in or strut the streets in.It’s the end of summer at Nike HQ and that means one thing – it’s harvesting season. Wheat on wheat on wheat is pouring out of Swoosh-land at the moment and we’re loving it. These new Nike Internationalists follow their predecessors with a bold black swoosh piercing a golden ‘Wheat’ upper that’s perched on a clean outsole.
Nike have once again dug into their retro runner archives and given the Nike Internationalist Sandtrap Summit White Stock a new lease on life, this time for the ladies. Buttery ‘Pewter’ suede coats the upper, while hits of metallic gold and rich chocolate take care of the details. Nike have rounded this one out by sticking the unmistakable sole unit on a gum outsole. Light on crazy details, heavy in style, this women’s Internationalist will be hitting select Nike retailers soon.
Nike Internationalist Midnight Navy online continues the glory streak with its understated retro runners, dropping this new rendition of the Nike Internationalist. This one will appeal to older sneakerheads and reticent fashionistas – a nice black Swoosh is slapped on subdued hues of khaki and ‘Dark Loden’ and, as you can see above, it looks quite all right with a pair of tan pants.
It took a good 30 years for Nike Internationalist wholesale price to pay their dues to the humble Internationalist, but they’ve been making up for lost time like crazy since its long overdue return in
2014 so we’re gonna let it slide. In addition to the necessary revival of the OG colourways, Nike haven’t been afraid to experiment with the classic ’80s runner. We’ve seen a mid-cut make-up, a Lunar-blessed incarnation and now the model is set to receive the JCRD treatment. With seamless camo Jacquard weave and purple polka dots up top, and a gum sole on the bottom, this womens exclusive colourway is nasty in the best possible way.
Alongside the ‘Infrared’, ‘Neon’, ‘Ultramarine’, ‘Mowabb’ – just to name a few – the combination of Royal Blue and Black will go down in history as one of Nike’s most compelling concoctions. If you don’t instantly recognise this colourway, you should probably go home and do some research on the history of sneakers, then come back and continue reading. Here we find the famous ‘Royal’ colourway re-purposed for the Internationalist Mid. Panel placement aligns true with the OG AJ1 ‘Royal’ hitting all the right marks, but where it differs, other than in silhouette of course, is through the use of suede and ripstop panelling, which for a Mid means it should minimise any unwanted material crunching down in the toe when being used Nike Internationalist low price.
